The second game did witness Robin Uthappa breaking from jail early in the innings, parking the bowlers out of the stadium while Sohail Khan’s clinical bowling saw him sneaking the cherry in through the defences of Dwayne Smith and Junaid Siddique which came in the wake of him removing Uthappa too. It was a walk in the park for Kamran Akmal and Tillakaratne Dilshan as the duo added 63 runs from the first four overs. The most notable part of the innings for the Warriors came when they lost three wickets in three balls; Dilshan, Levi and Akmal with the first two going to Elias Sunny while the Pakistani wicket-keeper was found short of the crease when Uthappa dislodged the bails.
